A look inside the room

Every workshop is different — but here's how a typical session flows, minute by minute.

  1. 0:00

    Why 'the talk' is dead

Why one big talk fails — and what a decade of small conversations looks like.

  2. 0:15

    The stages

What's typical at 8, 10, 12, and 14 — and the early signals worth watching.

  3. 0:35

    Scripts that work

Actual phrases to open, deflect, and follow up when your kid clams up.

  4. 0:55

    Your questions

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot

My kid is already a teenager. Too late?+

Not at all. We tailor the second half of the session to the ages in the room.

Can both parents attend on one ticket?+

Yes — pricing is per household, not per person.

Who teaches the class?+

Every workshop is led by a licensed pediatrician with training in adolescent health — never a general presenter or volunteer.

What's your refund policy?+

Full refund up to 7 days before your session. After that, we'll credit you toward any future workshop.

Do you offer scholarships?+

Yes — we set aside 10% of every session for need-based scholarships. Just email hello@turningteen.com.
